Vredenburg Leeuwenbergh lies on the edge of the Museumkwartier (Museum District) on the outer canal. The building is across from the Maliebaan and the Spoorwegmuseum just behind Lepelenburg Park.
 
Public Transportation
From Utrecht Central Station, take bus line 2, the Museumkwartier loop. After about 10 minutes, get out at the Catharijne Convent stop. Walk 100 meters in the direction of the bus and turn left onto Zuilenstraat. You will come to the Nieuwegracht. Cross it and enter Schalkwijksteeg. Car
Parking is scarce in the immediate surroundings of Vredenburg Leeuwenbergh. However, there is paid parking in the Kruisstraat parking garage or on Maliebaan. Follow the directions below.
 
From The Hague, Rotterdam, Arnhem (A12)
Take the A12 to Utrecht. At the Lunetten junction take the A27 toward Hilversum. Take the Veemarkt exit, exit 30. Follow Veemarkt/Centrum signs. At the roundabout, turn left (3/4). At the next roundabout (Berekuil), follow the sign for Wittevrouwen. Continue on Biltstraat along the bus lane. When the bus lane turns left, cross it to enter Kruisstraat. Walking from the Kruisstraat parking garage to de Leeuwenbergh
From the Kruisstraat parking garage to de Leeuwenbergh is a 5 to 10 minute walk. Turn right at the garage exit. You will be facing the rear of the Stadsschouwburg. Follow the Wittevrouwensingel to the left. Cross at the first stoplights and continue bearing left. After several minutes you come to Lepelenburg Park, with a white kiosk on the field. Vredenburg Leeuwenbergh lies on the other side of the park (Servaasbolwerk).
 
Kruisstraat parking garage full?
If the parking garage is full (check the sign: ‘parkeren centrum oost’), you may park on Maliebaan. Continue on Biltstraat. Turn left at the stoplights onto Wittevrouwensingel. Continue to Maliesingel. At the roundabout, turn left onto Maliebaan. Here you will find paid parking. Maliebaan leads to Lepelenburg Park, behind which lies Vredenburg Leeuwenbergh. To get here by foot, turn left from Maliebaan onto Maliesingel. Turn left at the first bridge (Maliebrug) over the canal. After the bridge, turn left. Lepelenburg Park lies on your left. After several hundred meters, you come to Vredenburg Leeuwenbergh on your right.
